Enforcing and Investigating Narcotics Cases

Course Overview

Narcotics abuse/sales is at an all-time high in the United States, yet many agencies look to cut narcotics enforcement as a cost-saving method. Why is that? Narcotics enforcement can be one of the most successful tools in the prevention of narcotics abuse/trafficking in your city, as well as the prevention of other crimes associated with narcotics.

This course is designed for officers to be proactive, instead of reactive. It is designed for officers/supervisors who are interested in the field of narcotics enforcement, to the experienced narcotics detective/supervisor. This class will focus on basic narcotics investigations, laws, types of narcotics interdiction, and case studies.
