James Isaacs Is an amazing instructor. I learned so much and had a great time. I wish the class was longer and look forward to other classes.

There were minor technical issues but overall everything was fine.

James is a great instructor, knowledgeable, and patient with his student on a very difficult subject matter to teach. My only recommendations would be to provide the training in a room dark enough for a projector presentation; or one that has video monitors set up around the room. I would also recommend providing the students with the PowerPoint presentation on the first day of the class so they may follow along with the instructor. One of my detectives used the PP presentation to take notes during the course.

During the class we discovered that there was another Cell Mapping course prior to this Course of instruction in which a majority of students had attended (prior to this class on 10/3-4/16). That prior class gave the past students an advantage over other students as their learning curb was increased from the class taken from 2 weeks prior. The instructor was very knowledgeable in his field but needed to recognize that not all students were up to speed leaving some behind and frustrated. An example, when newer class attendees had questions or were just trying to catch up, the instructor was off to the next course of instruction. This was not done intentionally, however, perhaps having another assisting instructor or having a completely separate class (levels) for beginners instead of combining them with students with experience. The handouts were not as user friendly and not in the order as the presenter taught. The PowerPoint was very difficult to read/see (white-out/background).

This class was very beneficial to me in in my job right now. I have used other programs for mapping, but without much knowledge of what I was doing or why I was doing it. This class gave me some basic knowledge that I was missing. The instructor kept the class interesting and engaging.

This was a great course and what I was looking for. The instructor was great and very knowledgeable. He kept the class moving and interesting. Great job.

Excellent course. James knew his stuff and was very patient when we were having difficulties. He not only taught us the subject matter, but gave us practical lessons in how it applies to real world cases.

Great class again. It was very helpful to build off of the Cell Phone Investigations class and to review what we learned. The group project was a great way to put what we learned to use.

James is an effective instructor with an amazing command of the subject matter. He was patient and able to teach a rather complex system even to people with limited technical know-how. The class material is immediately useable and will save me buckets of time in quickly doing analysis and mapping in 1/100th of the time. Thanks and great job!
