I was happy to see our local agencies following what appears to be "best practice" after this course. I was hoping to see if maybe something new had been introduced, but apparently not. I get the "why" of trying to force students into participation, but it just didn't work.

this is the first time in a training on this subject, and it will allow me to bring new information to my department

Solid instructor, engaging and knowledgeable. Minor issue with tech/videos, but was resolved. Minor issue with not receiving the webinar link from Police Technical, had to call to request the link.

The class info was good, but I think there was a lot of time wasted on trying to get class input. I wanted the instructor to have best practices etc so we can better our OIS investigations. What he had to say was good, but at the start he stated they should change the name to OIS 360 which would probably be a good idea. I wanted more info on OIS Investigation (name of class) protocols etc. Overall, it was good.

Chris was very knowledgeable and provided alot of good information/insight into OIS's he has worked/assisted with in the past. I did not have any experience with OIS investigations and it made me comb over my own PD's policies and protocols while also talking with other members of my major crimes team who have investigated OIS's
