Overall this course wasn't as applicable to my position as my chief thought it would be. I did get tons of takeaways for others that this would fit better in my department. I learned a lot and it was a very informative course.

Good class. I thought there would be more information pertaining to a supervisor role, but there was just resources given. I would like to know what to expect as a supervisor and some common issues that may arise.

I enjoyed this class a lot. From the presentation to the interactions from others. Having different perspectives and titles was good to see how they handle situations and the advice they gave was informative.

Although it's very hard to get participation and engagement in a virtual setting, I don't think an hour long intro of attendees is a good use of time. Perhaps a "survey" that collates the data and shared with the group would give everyone an overview of the experience and background and then the opportunity to expand on items.
The overall content was good, but seemed rushed as opposed to the amount of time that was spent w/ the intros. Would have liked more time to delve into the "supervisory" aspects of the job more and would have been a good discussion w/ other perspectives/challenges from attendees. The scenarios were fine for the analytical approach but not much emphasis on the actual role from supervisor point of view.
I appreciated the handouts as well and that was nice to have everything included in a zip file. The guidelines & framework for starting/improving a unit are super beneficial. As are the legal considerations as well.
The instructor seemed very sweet and interested in the topic, approachable, and eager to help and make & give connections, was very knowledgeable about the analytical aspects, but not as much experience behind the "supervisory" role. That part really seemed to be glossed over.
