I enjoyed the information specifically regarding the bitcoin and other online wallets that are used by criminals. I feel like I have a better understanding of these materials and how to follow up on them.

I thought the training was incredibly beneficial. I received so much resources and knowledge on a topic that i had previously had very little working knowledge of. I enjoyed the real world examples which demonstrated the timeline and investigative strategies that were employed in order to successfully prosecute individuals using search warrants for digital devices.

Overall good course, especially for newer police officers with not a lot of search warrant experience. Would be good to break it into an intro course and then have an advanced course to expand.

The course had good information and material but I wish the class focused more on the actual authoring and writing of the search warrants and included more templates and information. The class more focused on the places and things search warrants can be written for but did not go over much of the actual writing of search warrants.

Some additional language examples and case law cites for legal authority for on scene previewing, plain view, and concerns around retention of consent data extractions would have been nice.

it would be nice to have a copy of the presentation to make notes on as the class progressed. Often time the instructor would just stop talking, Later I realized he was reading a question that someone had asked, but as a student not being able to see the questions, I did not realize what was going on, and often thought I was having computer problems.

Found interesting points on the differences in search warrant techniques for digital items versus physical property. My first search warrant for a phone I got a warrant for the physical phone and then another for the data within. This class clarified that separate warrants were not required.
