Great content, instructor very knowledgeable and I would call him an expert in his field. I think to much time was spent on the Excel spread sheet training.

Only thing I would say is I feel the class could be expanded to three or more days.

Course instructor was extremely knowledgeable about the course, and it was apparent he had experience with the cellular phone warrant and how to prepare a report / map with results of warrant. This course was a bit above my capabilities and I found myself getting lost several times. The instructor was able to get me back to speed, but I felt it was going a bit too fast for my level of experience. Not sure how or what could have been done differently. All in all, course was good, instruction was great.

A portion of the course covered law and search warrant writing. I believe this can be reduced to provide more time for practical analysis of cell phone records. Detectives *should know the law and how to write an S/W.

Where everything presented was exceptional, I offer the following constructive criticism: 1. Access to the classroom could have been better. Class was held in the patrol briefing room and although very adequate, could not come and go as you please. 2. The class was chock full of information and, in my opinion, should have been at least a 3 day course. 3. The presentation by the instructor was excellent, however I feel it would have been better received had the order of the presentation mirrored the handout provided. Was constantly flipping back and forth through the booklet to find where we were in line with the PowerPoint.

The information presented in this course, although very useful was not entirely what the title of the course made it seem. The focus of the information presented to the students was driven more towards telephone records results and not so much cellular phone information. I think the course would benefit from more focus being placed on how to gather the information being presented in the course. I know that several of the students, myself included were not very knowledgeable on the use of Microsoft Excel and a large portion of the course was devoted to using data in Excel, which would also be useful to know in advance.

Great class very helpful

The material covered in this training I feel is extremely instrumental to any and all criminal investigations. However, a longer week or an extension of this class would be extremely helpful due to the complexity of the methods. The instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful with individual needs and own cases from their respected agencies.
