Overall this class was very informative. One Note is new to many users and the case management will greatly assist our unit in moving to paperless files.

Mr. Fusetti was very knowledgeable with 1st hand LE application to utilizing OneNote. He was open to real time interaction and feed back and was also open to learning from others.
The pace and tone was great and although there were a few students with technical issues he agreed to help them offline so the class could move on.
Thanks

We did discover I had a different version of OneNote installed on my computer. It appears Microsoft produces two versions and I had the "Windows 10" version installed. A reinstall of Office overnight corrected the differences, however, I offer a suggestion that it would have been good to discover that difference before the class. Having a different version made it confusing to follow that first day, as the screen views and examples were very different. (The Windows 10 version paralleled the mobile version in how it looked.) I also recommend pushing out the OneNote manual before day one. I like to have that information in advance to review and prepare for a class, as it helps me to reinforce the concepts and workflow. (And, I probably would have noted the different versions sooner.)
I ran into some challenges in sharing Workbooks, because we do not use One Drive. We use Dropbox as our office file-sharing platform. It would be good to spend some more time on the file/workbook sharing and keeping things in order and setting proper accesses. It would also be nice to add some more content on workbook structure and organization. I would even be willing to pay for a future follow-up class with a lab and the ability for the instructor to access and control my computer to help with some of the issues that came up.
In all, I feel the class was well worth it. The challenge is getting started in a new software program brings a steep learning curve and associated frustrations of not fully understanding the features. It becomes a perishable skill. My other personal challenge will be once I figure out the software and how to organize it, will be to share the information with my co-workers.

Course was great. I have used OneNote before, my biggest reason why I can not stick to it is that I like things formatted and I haven't been able to come up with a format I want. Plus I love stationary, so going all digital is something I can not do. However, I can see after this class how much you can do with OneNote. My agency has OneNote for Windows 10; which is not my favorite - since it doesn't have the same toolbars, etc. I really enjoyed learning all the different elements this program has to offer. I think this is a great course.
