Class overall was good. A little more systematic and structured using the hand-outs would have been beneficial - kinda bounced around topics. Felt a little rushed at the end and did not really have a "wrap-up" so to speak. The majority of the person-to-person interaction from the instructor was directed at the attendees who had mentioned they had military service in the intro. That said he was an effective instructor and I believe the class learned a lot as a whole.

The materials and instructor were both excellent! I will use the knowledge that I gain from this course in my daily duties.

Ashley did really well with the presentation - there was a huge difference in level of experience and knowledge in the classroom and I thought he handled it well. I told him that I could use two weeks on the material but couldn't do two weeks....meaning - I still have a lot to learn. Also on a separate note - I want to say that Police Technical has some of the best training I have had so thank you

I wished we would have covered the excel basics before getting too deep into data analysis

This was a very helpful class and I plan on implementing in my research for detectives.

I would have liked to get into some of the VLookups that were shown on Wed., but that was not approached again during the class. Additionally, I would have liked to see some of the \\\"if\\\" formulas in practice not just on the prepopulated information.

This course was helpful in learning to organize extremely large amounts of Excel data in a short amount of time. Relatively dry material, but Ashley did a great job of delivering it to the class and keeping us engaged.

I wish more basic stuff was covered I.e. how to build a spreadsheet from the start.

I really enjoyed this course- it made learning excel tolerable (I didn't think that was possible!) and I would definitely take another of Ashley's classes.

I definitely picked up some useful things about Excel that I did not know before the class.

The class was advertised to me as "Excel for Narcotics investigations", so spending half a day analyzing Sacramento PD's stop data seemed irrelevant. I think the first day could be nitty-gritty here's how to use Excel, and the second day should me more application to real world problems. The final "scenario" of using excel with CDR's was most helpful.
