The course was very interesting and the instructor had a great insight on the material he was teaching.

I was embarrassingly unaware of all the OS information out there. I feel like I have an arsenal to augment my database research.

This class was very informative. I feel I learned a lot about new tools I can use during my investigations. I believe the class would benefit from being longer as there was lots of information crammed into the time allotted so I feel I may have missed something as the course was pretty fast paced. The instructor did a great job explaining different tools and methods of finding pertinent information.

I believe the value of this course is the hands on potential. We were provided laptops to use but were never offered the opportunity to use them. There were no practical exercises to use what we were being taught. The instructor provided a booklet with slides for the class. However, very very few of the slides from the instructor's presentation were actually in the booklet. I was hoping an Open Source investigation class would have provided the students the ability to utilize what they were being taught. But we not once got the opportunity to cut on the computers. I was extremely disappointed in the class. The class simply involved the instructor talking. The facility offered laptops and WiFi connections but we were not given the opportunity to utilize either.

Manuals were not in order of the presentation and most of the more "useful" slides were not included in the manuals either.

It would be great if more hands on is incorporated into the class.

This class was very informative with a lot of information. I would like to see the class made into something more practical with how it can relate to cases, for example, create a target and utilize the resources to find out information. The overview of the resources just scratched the surface, I would have liked to see how I as an Agent could utilize the resources.
