The class was informative and provided reliable information on new methods used to apprehended criminals. I would like to see handouts regarding the methods used, similar to a step by step how to access with possibly a digital thumb drive containing the information.

This was a good class. I was not aware of the website to map cell towers or the ability to put the file directly into google earth to map historical data.

This should be listed as an introduction course as it provides more of an overview of digital data leading to locating suspects rather than an in depth exploration of using data to locate criminals. I have attended another class that provided similar info so I was hoping for more detailed information and knowledge than I received. If someone had no experience with this subject matter, I would recommend this class for those people much higher.

I think some of the material, like the encryption part, went way over most of the students’ heads

I felt like this class was more of a Digital Investigation, versus Fugitive Apprehension. The information was good, but for my job, which includes fugitive apprehension, it was not at all what I thought it would be. Good class for Detectives though.

Was a good training class. Wish he would have taught more in relation to social media (facebook, Instagram) and using those platforms for investigation purposes.

Class was not what I expected. Material covered a very limited application skill set. I expected the class to include more information with regards to locating fugitives through social media or search engine applications. Maybe rename the class “Utilizing cell phone data for fugitive apprehension”.
