Would like to see less time be spent on what people's expectations of the class will be/what we will be talking about. We could have gotten through more material if we did not spend the entire first morning on it. Other wise a good class.

Without knowing how social media works and what works from a law enforcement standpoint is what made this class interesting. Learning from others failures is the best teaching tool.

I felt that information was pertinent and we will be bringing back a lot of what we learned as we reshape our social media program

Based on the description of the course, I believed this was going to be a more in-depth class on social media tactics and ways to improve your social media page. The entire first day was simply how to create a Facebook page which our PD already has. I had hoped to gain knowledge on how to expand and grow our audience on social media.

Would have liked to touch on Snapchat. The Facebook and Twitter portions were helpful though. It did seem a bit expensive however.

I think that I was hoping to learn more about how to use social media as a marketing tool for our agency, but this class had a different focus. That being said, I did learn some valuable tools to manage our social media presence. I came in knowing that we need a better plan and policies and I feel that I am more equipped to make recommendations to our leadership. I only have a couple pieces of criticism. One, I think that the course is much too expensive and two, the accompanying book was very out of date. It hadn't been updated since 2015 which is an eternity in the tech world.

Only reason I wouldn't recommend to anyone else in my agency, no one else has this responsibility as we are a very small agency. Andy did a good job and had really good examples to use.

Felt cost was a bit much for the two day class. It would have been nice to go over more of the material in the book as it is harder to follow when on-line and trying to listen. Overall learned a lot as I had no experience with Twitter or Instagram and like the info on policy. I liked learning how to block or hide posts and especially all the questions/feedback from the other agencies that were also attending was good. Also, on a petty note, most who attend all day trainings plan on having something to eat in the morning and at least water provided all day. I think for the cost of each participant that could have been provided and not everyone is a coffee drinker.

I learned a lot about the back end of facebook and really enjoyed learning about policies and how to handle negative comments.
