The audio at times cut off and was hard to hear. I thought it was my computer at first but I heard others had the same problem. There were no handout. I think if there is case law or anything that supports the instructors ideas, they should be presented to us.
very low energy and not well online.
Nicole was very knowledgeable and encouraged students to ask questions if they needed further clarification. She was willing to stay over the allotted time if anyone needed additional help which she did not need to do. She was a great instructor.
Nicole was so knowledgeable and helpful! I wish this could have been a longer course so we could slow down and really get into the material.
I am in my 8th year as a Detective. For the last 2 years I have been the only investigator in the Davis County Correctional Facility. We house 650 to 750 inmates on a consistent basis. I have dealt with more than 20 Confidential Informants during the last 2 years. 85% of them were credible in provided information on drug smuggling hamade weapons and fights that were occurred. I have also worked with several who were working with agencies on the outside including Federal as well. It seems that most CI policies are geared for Metro or Patrol on the streets. I have seen some of the dangers of just running with information that a CI provides. Making sure inmates are credible and protecting Deputies is why i took this class. The information that received from this class was amazing. Some of it i had already in place but there is much more that has to be done. I would defiantly recommend this class to all Corrections officers in the future. I retire in 1 1/2 years and hope to implement some of these ideas into policy. Thank you Agent Wright for your help Detective Evans
