The material would have maybe been better for a Human Trafficking 101 course rather than Human Trafficking Investigations. There were not many investigative tools/tactics that were presented. The first day (4 hours) of the training was not helpful and focused mostly on HT in the news or known HT cases, but no details on the investigative tactics, strategies, details, etc. I felt like it was basically a 4-hour long intro. The second day (last 4 hours) was better and presented good information, especially on open-source and internet based HT, which makes sense since that is the instructor's forte.

It was a very informative course and a good instructor that made sure people participated.

I found the training differed from my expectations. I was surprised to learn that a \"Human Trafficking Investigations\" course was accessible to a broader audience than just law enforcement. The instructor clearly has strong expertise in online crimes and CSAM, and I believe a more investigation-focused session with them could be outstanding. However, this session included an abundance of videos, lengthy breaks, and several statistics that are readily available elsewhere. I was hoping for a deeper exploration of investigative techniques, as the content felt more geared toward general awareness with only occasional practical insights.
