The instructor was engaging and knowledgeable. The course materials (booklet) were easy to navigate.

The first day was a great day. I learned a lot of new things I didn't know how to do. The second day was a little rough. I felt like she was all over the place in the training. A couple of times she would show us the wrong way to do things, but then wouldn't show how to fix it. On the second day she told us to bring one of our spreadsheets so she could answer any questions we had about it. She started helping us, but someone else need help, so she said she would come back and help us but never did. We ended up figuring it out ourselves. All the reference material they gave us was great.

I was exceptionally impressed with this class and with the instructor. She took the time to really meet everyone where they were at with their skill level and experience with Excel. I especially liked how prior to taking a lunch break she would ask if we had any specific questions or topics we would like to discuss relevant to our work and with the suggestions we made she would actually create examples and mini lesson plans on those topics so when we got back from lunch we could go over them! Above and beyond in my book. I've taken one Excel course in the past (I really don't like Excel...), that course made my eyes glaze over and I was fighting off sleep. The instructor for this course was enthusiastic and engaging and actually made learning this program dare I say easy! I would 100% take another class with her on Excel.

I think the class was great and an awesome way to get familiar with, or, get more experience with Excel. Thanks to the instructor, I learned how to do drop down menus, pivot graphs, and filter data via Excel. Thank you!

One Comment, for the class exercises let the instructor help solve a mistake. The instructor did not always follow to completion for the class exercises. She bounced around subjects, which got confusing for me.

It would have been more beneficial if the instructor would have shown all the ways to accomplish the same task, since everyone processes differently. There was a lot of moving around the class time which lead the class to feel drawn out. It comes down to being difficult to teach all learning styles. There were times when the instructor said go for it, without really showing a good example first.

It would have been beneficial to have an additional instructor. Students varied wildly in skill level, and having a second instructor would allow the more experienced students to proceed while the second instructor worked one-on-one with the less experienced students.

Overall great class - I would recommend a level 1 and a level 2 - one for folks with zero knowledge and one for current users looking for more advanced topics.

The course was great, the level of experience of students was too wide for everyone to receive the same level of training.

Allie did a great job presenting the information to a class that had a wide variety of Excel experience, meeting everyone at their level. Her knowledge and experience with Excel are obvious and I will be able to utilize what I learned in my work. It's comforting to know that she has made herself available post-training.

The only negative refers to my learning style. The instructor jumped around to different topic a lot. It would have benefitted me if she had just followed to book.

The course was useful, and the instructor tailored portions of the class to the work that the students perform during their duties.
