This course was not what I was expecting. The topics were more for higher level phone forensics not the beginner level and there was no mention of needing EXCEL or other computer tools in order to follow along with instructor. Good information but not what was outlined.

I think that only 8 hours was not enough time for the instructor to be able to teach us all the material.

Overall, the training was excellent. I found everything outlined in the course to be extremely useful for conducting cell phone investigations. Although, I do appreciate the excel lesson block, and consider it valuable, I would have preferred more time spent on search warrants and articulating PC. I think stressing the importance of excel in cell phone investigations is something all investigators need to be aware of and fill that training need. It just was hard for me to switch modes like that. A separate companion seminar would be the way I would want to see the material on excel pivot tables, if then function, etc. given, just so everyone knows what they are getting into.

I found this course highly informative, even for someone who is not in law enforcement. I appreciated the live demos as well as the real case example that James showed.

This was one of the best training classes I've been to regarding cell phone investigations. The instructor presented the information in a clear and concise manner which was easy to understand. It was evident the knowledge and experience the instructor brought to the class and I appreciated his willingness to answer questions and his encouragement of class participation.
