Sara did a great job with the topic and was very knowledgeable. She stayed on task, kept to her timelines and the flow was impressive. She covered lots of items in two days but it did not feel rushed or shortened. She did a great job.

It would be helpful to have a step by step guide as a handout, or an updated booklet to take home. Overall the course was great and I will be using what I learned at work.

Our instructor Sara Spaulding was incredible! She totally rocks in both presentation and passion. Sara made the training fun, easy to understand and exciting to learn. Being a "behind the scenes" kind of person, the information she taught will be beneficial in all capacities of being a Public Safety Officer. Although our department is small and we won't have a designated PIO, it is great to know there are now four of us here at the City of Ontario that can help when needed.

Sara gave a great overview of how the PIO role impacts, and is so critical to, community engagement. She provided useful information that I felt I could go back and immediately apply in my position. I was disappointed to miss day 2 of the course due to a family emergency, but she shared the course materials with the class, shared her contact information, and offered her assistance into the future. Great class, thank you Sara!
