Presentation and Training material were outstanding / world-class.
A powerful journey through history that still impacts our profession to this day. A captivating, emotional and informative training experience. It is not just a law enforcement issue, "It's complicated", but we serve in an important, front line role as our nation continues to recover from its past. Tom is a gifted presenter who has complete command and control of the classroom. PK's perspective and LE experience add significant value to the course.

This course has a lot of potential to be valuable to Law Enforcement. Unfortunately it did not seem like it was well refined. The connection to the legacy of slavery and Law Enforcement was not defined very well and neither where some of the solutions to help modern law enforcement address this issue.
I liked PK, but he seemed to speak to us like we had no prior knowledge of the issue. Most people who attend this course probably will have an interest in it and will have quite a bit of knowledge about the subject matter. Many times he was reading the power point, which I could do myself.
It seemed like valuable time was lost on to many break outs. They could have been a lot shorter.
I would suggest that the first day be focused on the slavery of the past and the second day be focused on how it affects police today and what can be done to help address the issues.
As I stated this class is a good thing and I think it can be made into something really good.

I found the history of LE interesting. Difficult topic to present on and clearly some participants were not ready to hear it. I also liked that the instructors put out several times that they were not looking for a consensus, they were just presenting facts and information.
