This was an excellent class and full of useful information.

Extending the number of days for the class, and adding a cryptocurrency expert to the lineup would help round everything out.

I felt David did a wonderful job teaching us what he could in the short amount of time he had available. I walked in the class on the first day with absolutely no knowledge of the dark web, and I walked out having a better understanding of it. The information he provided us with in the training will prove useful in my current cases and will also prove useful with my agency moving forward with Cyber and Dark Web investigations. Class was very informative, I learned a lot from this class.

Instructor needs to create one cheat sheet with all different dark web search techniques are internet sites so the student can utilize it as a guide not only in class it once out of class in the field.

Could increase the handouts with commonly used websites

Traveled to AZ for Dark Web training and really never obtained a solid understanding of the Dark Web. Instructor talked a lot about open searches and other specific search methods which was useful; however, did not build a foundation of the Dark Web. I had really hoped to learn how to manage/search the Dark Web (TOR) in case specific applications and possibly start identifying or building a case on individuals utilizing the Dark Web in jurisdiction. We were allotted time to search TOR however never obtained any knowledge of the correct way to search/query and/or how to purchase items on the web etc or the culture of the Dark Web. From my understanding items purchased on the Dark Web is utilizing cryptocurrency which the instructed had limited knowledge. The instructor had a practical had at the end of the class, which really had nothing to do about the Dark Web, rather covered his course of instruction of the 2 day class which involved varying types of searches. Possibly I missed understood what the course of study involved.

Would have like to have more hands-on with the internet (DARKWEB) possibly going to sites. New case studies (that is not the DPR) on how they started the case to the arrest or a failed case and what to obstacles to avoid. And to supply additional wifi to the class to surf the DarkWeb smoother. Just sayin'

I think perhaps requiring students to have TOR and other programs installed prior to the class would have left a bit more time for the core concepts. I do understand that some students may benefit from installing the programs in class but at this point they need to learn to do something so vital and simple on their own.

Great class, great presenter

This course was great, I have already used some of what I learned in the class in my current investigations. The only thing I suggest is that the class be longer than two days, as it was a lot of information in a short amount of time. Also, if there could be an introductory class first, then this class following. I have already told people in my agency about the class, and that they should go to the next one.

Great class and instruction. Definitely improved my knowledge of the Dark Web and related investigations. My only suggestion would be to have the instructor show more of the dark web via the display screen for the students that are unable to access the dark web.
