EXCELLENT training and explanation by the instructor. Very real-world and easy to understand instruction. Easily implement into day-to-day tasks at our department.

Katie Murphy is an excellent instructor. The way she structured the class, using very basic examples as building blocks to using the more complex functions, made the material very easy to follow, understand, and replicate. I have been to many analyst and investigator courses, including FLETC Charleston and FLETC Georgia, and she is easily in the top 3 of effective instructors I have had. The training manual she put together was excellent as well, and I appreciate all the time she must have put into creating it. The only complaint I had about the training, is the classroom we were in was extremely cold because it was next to an ice rink. Otherwise, the facility and host police department were great.

This course was very beneficial and the instructor was great! She was very knowledgeable about excel and I was pleased to see her ability to apply it to real world possible scenarios in multiple capacities!

Regarding the training materials, I can appreciate the ability to save and "re-train" on the the training files - very useful! I would prefer if the handout were more of a "step by step" as opposed to a list of facts.

Katie has a thorough understanding and command of Excel. Her professional background and experience as an analyst enabled her to provide credible examples of real-life law enforcement applications. The pace of the class seemed perfect for a group with varying levels of exposure to Excel.

The presentation was very professional and included a lot of useful information. However, I am very new to excel and some of the information was over my head in understanding and retaining. This however is no reflection on the class. Also the venue for the class was less than desirable. It was way too cold even though I am sure it kept everyone awake!

The location for the training was terrible. No training should be in an ice arena. The classroom was extremely cold. The projector and screen needed to be bigger. I was unable to see most of the content on the screen. Also needs to have a better setup for electrical. The instructor was great and made it easy to learn.

The training was held in a room inside an ice rink which lacked heat. Students and the instructor wore jackets both days because of the lack of heat.

My only complaint was the temperature of the training location. Obviously, that isn't a Police Technical issue.
