Implementing Technology is a Process, Not a Task

When bringing new technology into an agency, the team must focus on many different aspects of the solution.  Focusing only on fixing a problem or finding new solutions does not work if the agency doesn’t adopt new processes to make sure the technology roll-out is successful.  POLICE TECHNICAL Consultants work with an agency before, during and after a technology introduction to establish goals, implementation procedures, and measurement tools to verify the success of the implementation.

In today’s environment many public safety professionals find themselves in a position of implementing technology initiatives for their organization. Often this is with little training or experience in this area. The majority of public safety professionals learn as they go in this area and in the end are often relatively successful.
